Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, Just For Pets Animal Clinic stresses the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs. We have the lastest Idexx CBC and Chemisty machine for in-house bloodwork while you wait.

Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Ovariohysterectomy ( Spay) and  Castration ( Neuter) of cats,dogs and rabbits,Tumor Removal Surgery,Gastrointestinal Surgery,Eyelid Surgery,Front Declaw Surgery

Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics ( Isoflurane Gas Anesthesia ) to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Our patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures with an EKG monitor to check heart rate and heart rhythm ,respiratory rate,oxygen levels and  temperature while our patients are under  general anesthesia.

Internal medicine : Many of our patients have endocrine, cardiac or gastointestinal disease which requires a workup and medical management. For those patients that require further diagnostics  we also offer outpatient referrals to an internal medicine specialist.

Radiology Services:  Our on-site, DIGITAL  X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.

Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, fluoride treatment, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery. Dentistry provides us with the opportunity to address your pet's oral health and to screen for signs of oral cancer.

Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Permanent identification: We offer Home Again microchip identification. A microchip is  permanent identification for your pet . The microchip is the size of a grain of rice and it can be inserted under the skin with a local anesthetic during any routine office visit. We insert the microchip in the same way that your pet receives  a vaccine .

Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.

Individualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet. We carry Heartgard for heartworm prevention and intestinal parasite control.Our clinic has a 100 % guarantee provided by Merial Animal Health that you pet will be reimbursed if your pet gets heartworms or intestinal parasites ( roundworms and hookworms) while it is on preventative purchased from our clinic. We also carry Nexgard an oral flea and tick preventative that starts to kill fleas within 4 hours of their appearance on your pet and provides 30 days of protection from flea and tick infestation. We recommend year round use of these products since fleas and ticks can inhabit the home all year and during all seasons.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. WE have a full line of Royal Canin as well as Purina Prescription Diets available for your pet's specific nutritional needs. We have diets 

Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

Bathing:  Medicated and therapeutic bathing services are available for patients with dermatologic conditions.
